Wellness Microgreens Subscriptions
Solrig makes it easy to reach your daily antioxidant goals buy offering Wellness Subscriptions designed to be easy and versatile, with subscription levels to meet your wellness goals.
The Wellness Subscription is designed to bundle a different combination of Alive Microgreens that have been carefully selected to support a diversity of antioxidant composition.
The Alive Microgreens are selected from a list of 30+ brassica varieties (broccoli, kale, kohlrabi, cabbage, etc.), other vegetables such as celery, beets, fennel, and swiss chard, and herbs like basil, cilantro, and parsley, each having it’s own antioxidant profile assuring you that you receive the antioxidant diversity nature intended.
Many subscription options are available to meet your wellness goals. Weekly delivery and every other week delivery is available and you can choose a quantity of 5”x5”microgreen units you would like. Highly personalized and brought to your door. See table below to see options.

Solrig Freeze Dried Microgreens
Solrig Freeze Dried Microgreens are excellent source of the antioxidants found in the living microgreens. We grow, harvest, and package the freeze dried microgreens under one roof and therefore have control of the entire process.
Grow Kits
Everything you need to grow your own microgreens. Healthy microgreens begin with excellent nonGMO seeds with high germination rates. Add that to a soil mix that will maintain moisture without encouraging mold. This kit gives you everything you need to be successful at growing your own nutrition.
With this kit you can grow a total of 12 units, each 4" x 4", 3 at a time.

Grow Kit Instructions

Step 1 - 2
1) Add 3/4 cup of water plus 1 teaspoon of household hydrogen peroxide to the aluminum tin.
2) Then place the plastic grow container (the one with holes) on top of the aluminum tin.
Step 3
Add 1/2 cup enriched soil into the plastic grows container. Smooth soil so that it is equally distributed
Step 4
Decide which microgreen to grow and distribute the appropriate amount on top of the soil surface. Press down gently.

Radish Mix (shown) - distribute 1 tsp

Arugula Mix - distribute ¾ tsp

BroccoliMix - distribute ¾ tsp
Step 5
Make Peroxide Solution in the spray bottle included in your kit. Place 1 tsp household hydrogen peroxide into the bottle and fill it with water. Using this solution, spray the seeded grow unit until moistened.
Step 6
Place clear plastic dome on top of seeded grow container.
Do NOT crimp foil around the dome. Place in a dark place like a cupboard.
Step 7
Check daily for germination - approximately 1-3 days.
Day 3: Lightly spray germinating seeds with Peroxide Solution. Place unit back into a dark location
Step 8
Day 5: Congratulations, your seeds have germinated and are ready for the light. Remove the plastic dome and save the dome for another growth time. Add water to the aluminum tin so that the growing container touches the water – approximately ½ cup. Roots may extend below the grow unit to reach the water.
You can easily add water to the tin by pouring the measured water into the space between the growing container and the tin.
Place in light and watch grow!
Step 9
Day 5 - 10: Watch your microgreens grow and add water as needed to the aluminum tin so that the bottom of the plastic grow container is in contact with water.
Do Not Overwater!
Your microgreens will let you know when they need water as they will show slight wilting. If you look closely at the photo, you will see white material on the root area. This is great news! Your plant has made root hairs and that is a normal part of a healthy plant.
Step 10
Day 9 and after: Harvest! Use a kitchen scissor and cut your microgreens at least 1/4 inch above the soil line, rinse, and ENJOY!
